In South East Asia, ant lair can became very unique traditional medicine. Perhaps its sound weird at first, but the benefit of this medicine has been proved not only by experience but also by scientific methods.

Not all of ant lair can be consumed and worthy for medical purpose. There only two from five genus of ant from family rubiceae that usually consumed by Asians. These two genuses called Hydnophytum and Myrmecodia.

Curing Acne with Herbs

There are some traditional medicine recipe to cure acne by using few kind of herbs. Here are some of them:
Papaya Leaves

Papaya’s Leaves 

  • Take 2-3 old papaya leaves, the dry it under the sun
  • Mash the papaya leaves with water, then squeeze it to get the juice
  • Rub the juice to the acne. Or you can use it to wash your face

Today, traditional medicine is becoming more popular because its availability and affordable price. Moreover, according to several researches, the side effect of traditional medicine is not as much as chemical medicine. Some of them even didn’t have any effect as long as it’s used appropriately.
